Total Number of Episodes: 3,253
Trading Status: UNAVAILABLE
NOTES:
- Paging the friends and family of David
Downs and Michael Tiller, if you have any DVDs of game shows
and non-game show material you want to send me, let me know.
- For the time being I’m only accepting
offers for digital trades of episodes.
- Going forward with future trades, I will
not accept any episodes that originated from YouTube,
Dailymotion, or any other video sharing website, unless the
video has been taken down and not circulating elsewhere.
TRADES
IN PROGRESS:
Jared Oswald (138/138 hours
[NO KIDDING!]) - Complete
Got
episodes of game shows or otherwise that you have but I don’t or
vice-versa, then you’ve come to the right place!
As for the listings themselves, the show titles are listed in
alphabetical order. However, money amounts do not count as part of
titles (for example, “The $50,000 Pyramid” would be listed under
“P”. Also, the words “The New” or “The All-New” do not count (for
example, both “Beat the Clock” and “The All-New Beat the Clock”
would be listed under “B”). All show titles are capitalized in
bold type while the host’s names are also in bold type. If a show
had more than one host during its run, each host will have a
sub-heading of their own (Guest hosts don’t apply to this, but
rather the one or more episodes of the show that they hosted are
listed under the name of the emcee that they filled in for); an
ampersand symbol (&) is used to indicate co-hosts. After each
episodes’ description is a number used for reference purposes in
brackets (see the ‘Trading Policies” for details). If I have more
than one copy of a particular episode (i.e. one from original
broadcast w/commercials and another that’s a Game Show Network/GSN
repeat), it counts as two episodes and its pointed out in the
listing for that. In addition, the listings have a number in curly
braces indicating the running time of the episode or clip rounded
up to the nearest minute.
“Foreign shows” are those which were aired only in their
originating country. If a foreign version of a US game show uses a
title that’s different from its American counterpart, it’ll be
noted by the words “same as…” or "version of..." in parenthesis
after the title.
Before even proposing a trade to me (if I’m on available status),
please read my ‘Trading Policies’ first (see below).
TRADING POLICIES:
First and foremost, any inquiries for trades involving money
and/or blank DVDs will be ignored and lead to the blocking of your
e-mail address.
When contacting me about a trade, please don’t tell me the shows
you want right away. Although you’ve sent me an e-mail, there’s no
guarantee that a trade will happen. If your collection is
available on a website, please send me your URL/link to it. If
your collection is not in website format (text document,
spreadsheet, or even a simple text file) you can send me a link to
your listings in Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.
When you’re instructed to select episodes, please mention the ID
numbers for the episodes you want. I’m currently accepting only
digital trades instead of DVD+/-R discs, I’m still not accepting
VHS tapes for trade.
If in the event that I catch your name on a “bad trader” or
“tape/disc overdue” or some list like those, you can still trade
with me, but I’ll need to receive your shows first before I send
yours out. If after 30 days (maybe longer for International
traders and/or if circumstances occur other than work/school for
US traders) I don’t receive episodes from you, then your name will
end up on the ‘Blacklist’.
I do even trades only (i.e. 6 hrs. for 6 hrs., 8 hrs. for 8 hrs.,
et al.) meaning I send 6-hours worth of shows and receive shows
totaling more or less than what I’ve sent. My minimum for trades
is two hours, I've sill yet to determine my maximum.
I have had people ask me to make a copy of a particular episode
that their relative was a contestant on. I don’t mean to be cold,
but I no longer do these kinds of requests as they are next to
impossible. I have other things going on in my life besides
recording shows.
If the episodes you have in your collection have the following…
- bad commercial edits
- none and/or partial
intro and/or end credits
- audio/video sync
issues
- questionable to poor
audio and/or video quality
- GSN credit crunches
(used from March 15, 2004-present; although it has gone back
to being Game Show Network by their full name in April of
2017, some reruns of classic GSs still have crunched credits.)
- frame rates of video
files lower than 29.97 FPS
- originated from
YouTube, Dailymotion, Internet Archive, or any other video
website
- has bugs/watermarks
placed by the uploader of the videos from the aforementioned
sites or whatever programs are used to encode the videos
(Bandicam, Kinemaster, et al.)
…and they aren’t
mentioned in some form in your collection, please tell me so that
there aren’t any surprises.
If your episode has commercials intact, keep them in there
regardless of broadcast source.
Failure to abide by the rules will have your name end up on my
‘Blacklist’ that I’ve already mentioned.
Note: These rules are subject to change at any time by me for any
reason.
